  At the east end of the bay on the bay road. A little hard to find if you have never been before. The parking seems ample. The entrance is welcoming and a service desk is aptly positioned. There is a banquet hall at the bottom of 4 steps and down a long hallway. There is a few.lounge chairs cozied next to a fireplace near the service desk ans before entering a gift.shop. The banquet food was served buffet style. They served ham, salmon and veggie lasagna, green beans, stuffing and mashed potatoes with gravy. There was ample dance floor.

  When we checked in the front desk lady was very unfriendly. Our room was okay, the lighting was terrible, and the bathroom was very oddly shaped, almost uncomfortable. We do love the private docks for crabbing, the pool and spa was decent sized, and we had it to ourselves for a little bit. The movies to rent are $4.00 a piece, and there was housecleaning equipment left in our room. The bay view is gorgeous, and the location is perfect! Just the staff and the room was not worth the 174.00 we forked out.

  Enjoyed our stay, walking around the shops in Newport,and crabbing at the dock at the Embarcadero. Long walks on the beach, and beautiful sunsets. We have been here in the summer, during storms in November, and to see the sailboats in the Bay with Christmas light aglow. We have enjoyed this place over a 25 year span, and continue to come back.

  Nice place to stay but there is nowhere to park our boat. Also, our window covering is lacking. Otherwise it is a nice place to relax in a comfortable bed with tasteful decor and helpful staff. There's a pool and restaurant I will go try tomorrow.
